Pregnancy
Updated over a week ago

A pregnant doggie will have changing nutritional requirements from the fourth week of pregnancy, with increasing changes from the sixth week once the puppies begin to grow more quickly. As a result, her food requirements need to be increased. We recommend the following as a guideline:

First 4 weeks: feed your dog her usual portions

Weeks 5 to 6: Increase her portions by 10-20%

Weeks 7 to 9: Continue to increase the portion size so that by the ninth week she is eating around 30-50% more than her usual portion size
