Sensitive stomachs
Updated over a week ago

In your trial box we’ll send a welcome brochure which will outline how to get started with Tuggs. Sometimes it can take a few days (or up to 2 weeks) to adjust to our delicious meals, so it’s advisable to take things slowly to avoid any tummy troubles. We have a specialist transition team who will be on hand to help you during this period.

For dogs with sensitive tummies our suggestion would be to start feeding your dog a very small amount of Tuggs (a few spoonfuls), mixed in with what they're currently eating over a period of 10-14 days. Incrementally increase the amount of Tuggs each day until you’re serving up a full bowl of Tuggs. You can see the transitioning guidelines here.

We would advise starting with our leaner meals (poultry or fish – lower in fat and easier to digest) for the first week to give your dog’s tummy time to adjust.

Should your dog experience a bit of tummy trouble, try going back a step or two on your transition for a few days until your pooch is back to normal. Be sure to offer plenty of fresh water, too.

These are only guidelines and we understand that you know your dog best!
