Our pouches are delivered frozen and we recommend keeping 5 days worth of pouches in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. This is because our food can be kept unopened for up to 5 days in the fridge, and 2 days once opened. If you’re struggling for freezer space consider ordering more frequently (for example, ordering 2 week’s worth of food instead of 4 week’s worth of food).

Keeping a few pouches in the fridge will ensure that you always have some food ready for your dog when meal time comes around.

Our small pouches (300g) take around 24h to defrost in the fridge, and our large pouches (700g) take around 40 hours to fully defrost in the fridge. If you’ve forgotten to defrost our pouches you can do so by placing them in a bowl of hot water, or by using the defrost setting on your microwave.
