Transitioning onto Tuggs when your dog is a fussy eater
Updated over a week ago

We’re fussy dog approved, and our team has put together some top tips here.

Whilst we usually advise a gradual transition onto Tuggs, if your pup isn’t eating their old food at all then we’d recommend starting with a full bowl of Tuggs from the get go. We would recommend feeding them multiple times per day (3-4 times) with smaller meals in order to avoid any tummy troubles. Remember that our food can be kept opened in the fridge for 2 days, providing ample time to split up the pouches into smaller meals.

We would advise starting with our leaner meals (poultry or fish – lower in fat and easier to digest) for the first week to give your dog’s tummy time to adjust.

These are only guidelines and we understand that you know your dog best!
